Absolute. Mayhem. Black Friday is a tradition in the United States that starts just as Thanksgiving ends. It officially kicks off the holiday shopping season and is called Black Friday (probably) because it’s the day when a lot of retailers go from being “in the red” to “in the black”. Although it’s mainly utilised by huge department stores, small businesses are trying to keep up by offering online sales on the same day, plus what’s now known as “Small Business Saturday” and “Cyber Monday” of that same weekend.
