Retail Tools Are Now Free For Shopify & Shopify Advanced Accounts!

Shopify recently announced that their advanced in-person selling tools are now available free of charge to merchants on the Shopify and Shopify Advanced plan! You’ll no longer have to pay the extra $49/month. Hooray!
Rest easy knowing you can sell your products in-store, at a pop-up or anywhere offline without having to spend the extra dosh.
What retail tools and features do I have access to?
Retail merchants can now connect Shopify’s advanced retail hardware tools to their stores, such as receipt printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers. What’s more, you can even reuse your very own hardware if it’s supported by Shopify!
You’ll also be able to use features such as gift receipts, physical gift cards, staff PINs and a save cart feature which allows you to pull up customer cart info later without losing the customer’s order information.
Don’t forget: even if you’re not on the Shopify or Shopify Advanced plan, you can still use Shopify POS - Shopify’s free point-of-sale app. You can find out more about Shopify POS’ features here.
