You see a pair of socks that look like flip flops. You think, “wow those are hilarious I have to give them to my brother as a joke gift”. You add them to your cart, but as you pull out your credit card you think “maaaaaaybe it’s too pricey for socks” or “oh I’ll just do it later” or “oops I left the oven on” and you shut your browser without buying.

Abandoned carts happen all the time, for lots of reasons. Here’s how to deal with them as a business. (And here are a few good laughs about them).
